My name is Joshua Roxendal and today I've been an ice-bath instructor for over a decade. Throughout this time, I've had the privilege of conducting over 100 ice bathing courses, helping individuals from all over the world feel better.
But my own introduction to ice bathing wasn't exactly a love at first plunge story. Believe it or not, my first attempt at ice bathing didn't go as planned. The cold was shocking, and the idea of doing it again wasn't exactly appealing.
Like many, I started with apprehension, unsure how to approach ice bathing in a way that felt manageable and beneficial.
But with a bit of encouragement, a lot of patience and a gradual approach, I discovered the joys and benefits of regular cold immersion.
